The Most Expensive WAG Engagement Rings
The rich and the famous love to splash the cash – whether it be for vacations, designer clothes, or spoiling their offspring, so it should come as no surprise that they love to fork out a fortune on the biggest and fanciest engagement rings, too.
Curious as to how much the rich and famous spend on a wedding ring, we enlisted the help of diamond jewellery experts at Roseanna Croft Jewellery to find out which WAG has the most expensive engagement ring of all time!
Which WAG Has the Most Expensive Engagement Ring?
Cristiano Ronaldo presented his long-term girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, with a Cartier diamond engagement ring in 2018. The footballing ace appeared to have spared no expense, with the ring being valued at over half a million pounds (£615,000), putting the couple first place in our rankings! There have since been rumours that they have tied the knot, following an Instagram post in January 2020 where Georgina referred to Ronaldo as her “husband”.
The second most expensive engagement ring of all time goes to the fiancée of Everton and England goalkeeper, Jordan Pickford. The ring, given to his childhood sweetheart, Megan Davison, is worth a whopping half a million pounds – there’s no doubt it’s certainly a showstopper!
In 2004, Cheryl Cole began dating England and Chelsea footballer Ashley Cole, and announced their engagement in 2005 after he proposed in Dubai. Her engagement ring, valued at an impressive £275,000, ranks as the third most expensive WAG engagement ring of all time – and was among one of the many reasons the couple’s marriage was so widely spoken about.

Annie Kilner, wife of Manchester City and England striker Kyle Walker, places in fourth place with a ring worth somewhere in the region of £275,000! Following closely behind is Coleen Rooney, Kate Wright and Toni Terry – the wives of Wayne Rooney, Rio Ferdinand and John Terry – with each of their three dazzling diamonds being valued at a quarter of a million pounds.
Former English professional footballer, Peter Crouch, started dating English lingerie and catwalk model Abbey Clancy in 2006, before becoming engaged three years later whilst on holiday in Sardinia. According to our valuation, Abbey’s pear-shaped diamond ring is worth a mighty £200,000.
Midfielder, Jack Wilshere, popped the question to his now wife Andriani Michael in 2016, at her surprise 25th birthday party, with a pricey £180,000 ring! The pair got married a year later in a dream three-day Tuscany ceremony surrounded by family and close friends.
Rounding of the top 10 most expensive WAG engagement rings is Katie Goodland, the childhood sweetheart of Tottenham Hotspur and England striker, Harry Kane. The footballer got down on one knee in the Bahamas in 2017, proposing to Katie with a platinum pear-shaped diamond ring which is reportedly worth £180,000.

Other WAG engagement rings costing more than £100,000 include:
- Daniella Seeman (Cesc Fàbregas ) – £150,000
- Pilar Rubio (Sergio Ramos) – £150,000
- Antonela Roccuzzo (Lionel Messi) – £100,000
Whilst some WAG engagement rings are a little less flashy, they’re still worth a pretty penny. Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock (Andre Gray) and Canadian figure skater Brianne Delcourt (Kevin Kilbane) come in at the bottom of our rankings but were still presented with engagement rings worth £30,000. To put that into perspective, despite being at the bottom end of the table, it’s still the same as a year’s salary (source: Telegraph) for the majority of full-time workers in the UK!
After that comes Frankie Bridge, Fern Hawkins, Annabel Peyton and Anna Lewandowska, with their engagement rings all being valued at £40,000, followed by Charlotte Trippier’s engagement ring from England right back Kieran Trippier, which was valued at £60,000.

Surprisingly Victoria Beckham’s wedding ring from England footballing legend, David Beckham, is reportedly worth £65,000 – a lot less than one would imagine. Beckham started dating “Posh Spice” Victoria Adams in 1997, before asking for her hand in marriage in 1998 whilst at a restaurant in Cheshunt – the pair have been inseparable since.
This goes to show that footballers don’t have to splash the cash on an engagement ring in order to have a successful relationship, with Wayne and Frankie Bridge being married since 2014 and sharing three children together, and the Beckham’s being married since 1999 and bearing four children.
